Humbled

Today I was done being a mom. After two days of uncharacteristic disobedience, slaps to the face, throwing food, and constant whining/crying/tantrums, I'd had it.

Then my boy took a very bad tumble. Once we realized he was okay, I started crying and was grateful that I am not done being a mom.

Repentance is a painful reminder of our blessings.

I'm glad he's okay. We've all had days when we're done being a mom. Hang in there!

Oh, so sad! what a relief that he's ok...and you hang in there! It's always harder being a mom when you're preggo (I tend to take the disobedience so much more personally). But hey, I'm having a week, too--you're not alone. Try chocolate.

How is little man doing this morning? Is his forehead totally black and blue? How did it go waking him up at midnight?

If every mother who ever uttered the words 'I'm done' truly meant it we would live in a world of all orphans. Just give yourself a time out and don't be too hard on yourself. I totally know how you feel.

sometimes i have to put reed in his room for his own safety. i just don't want to be the mom is yells and screams at my child, but i get frustrated at times and need a break. so, reed goes to his room and plays and mommy gets to sit on the couch for a minute :) hope little j is doing ok.

so sad! I am glad he is ok. It's sounds bad from some of the comments. Motherhood is a huge dose of humility. YOu are the BEST and you are doing a fabulous job with your little man. He is truly a lucky kid.

You'll have many more humbling moments, I fear. In fact, nothing, humbles me more than motherhood.
