Brazos Bend State Park

During the Blonde Siblings tour we visited Brazos Bend State Park to see the alligators and were not disappointed.

Blonde Siblings

Happy 100th Post!

This is our 100th Post (I graciously say "our" because although P has yet to physically contribute to our blog, he provides the emotional support by constantly reminding me we need an update).

P's family had a "Blonde Siblings Trip" to Houston two weeks ago and it was so nice to be together. In fact, the day after everyone left, our home felt so empty and sad. We miss you Michael, Jennifer, and Rebecca!

We went to Brenham to visit the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory, see the bluebonnets along the highway, and enjoy the Antique Rose Emporium.

More pics to follow. How soon? No promises.

Home Improvement

P is so creative. He decided to faux our front room to give our drab home a little life.

Stage 2.

He also painted our kitchen this warm shade of Apple Butter.

Houston Rodeo

On the first day of the Houston Rodeo (March 3), P took me to Tim McGraw! It was a great show and I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. Those of you who know P know what a big sacrifice it is to go to an extremely crowded place to watch a country singer. I love him!

There were a lot of fun events, but the calf scramble was the most entertaining.

P felt like we didn't have enough Prom-style photos, so here goes. This is 2 months old, so the belly has expanded significantly. More to come. P.S. Kudos to Stacy who made this dress. We knew I needed a navy blue dress but had no idea how big I would be at 5 months, so she put this little number together in about 3 hours. Thanks Stacy!
